Parents Empowered
Parents Empowered: Education Equity Conference
Saturday, March 9, 2019
8:30 AM 1:00 PM
The intention in coordinating this conference is to create community amongst LA County parents and raise awareness around the tools parents can utilize to effectively advocate for their children in the classroom and beyond.
At the Parent Empowerment Conference, attendees will have critical conversations, share their perspective, and hear from dynamic speakers. Through this intentional experience, empowerment will be cultivated so parents can be make more efficient and informed decisions.
Many would agree that equitable school systems, districts and policies work for the betterment of our communities. We are eager to engage further in this dialogue around education equity in Los Angeles County.
